The cottage is very light and spacious offering plenty of space for 4 people. It has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard with a mixture of antique and classic furniture and rugs. Formerly the wine store, when the properties were originally a vineyard, it is designed on a split level. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and farmland. When approaching the property you pass the main house but the property enjoys its own private garden and outlook onto open countryside.

Accomodation

Double bedroom opening onto the private terrace with views over the gardens and countryside. Twin bedroom. Both bedrooms link into a bathroom with bath/shower and WC.

Large open plan room on a split level.

Well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave, large fridge and freezer.

Dining area with table and four chairs, CD/Radio/Tape and lounge area with a large sofa, two large arm chairs, foot stool and table. Television cabinet with TV, video and Sky connection. High chairs, booster seat and cot available.

The Grounds

The Cottage is surrounded by 3 acres of beautiful grounds with a swimming pool and large fenced pond. Most of the ground floor rooms open onto terraces and the lovely gardens. There is an outdoor dining terrace and barbecue area.It has been sympathetically restored, retaining the original ceiling beams. The elegant interior is wonderfully light and spacious and has been tastefully furnished with a mixture of antique and classic furniture.

Well stocked picturesque gardens are surrounded by woods and corn filled fields. Wistena climbs the barn walls and climbing roses intertwine with branches creating dappled shade under the trees. A variety of rose filled flower beds, lawns and a lily decked pond are the background to the evening cacophony of frogs and crickets.
